Yesterday we ate the remains of so I am told "a delicious fish pie consisting of leaks, onions and spinach. Went down a treat.
Tonight I made chicken curry with apricots. Rousing approval, now finishing off a bottle of Pinot Grigio.. ;)

Looooove cheese and beetroot Saundra :D

We had chicken breast, stuffed wit hgarlic and local cheese, wrapped in parma ham, with deep-fried   potatoes, brocolli, green beans, peas and a mushroom and garlic sauce :D :D

One of our favourites - and grumpy deserves it, as he came out with a fantabbytobby idea earlier. :D :D

A bit like Di earlier in the thread ........ left-over roast lamb pieces with diced carrots, heated in a lamb stock, with a baked potato each.

It's the third family meal we've had of a £14 2kg leg of lamb joint, (after roast lamb on Sunday and lamb tagine on Monday) .....

I had pork sausages in pita bread with rocket salad - actually quite yummy; enough so that I had two :-)

I'm being Mrs Organised Knickers

Cauliflower cheese with brazilian sausages (for him) and the most scrummiest bread for tomorrow night. I'll have chicken sausages, if I have to

I don`t feel obliged to do a roast dinner every week. I do it as we both enjoy a good roast.
Also being older it was always a tradition --Roast Dinner every Sunday as we were growing up.
My son and daughter seldom make a roast--when they do it is quite an occasion
Another reason is that i find a roast is very easy to make :D

I make one most Sundays Lissie, apart from the middle of summer when we find it too hot to enjoy it and switch to salads and BBQ  We love a nice roast, and they are easy, aren't they? :)
