A beautiful gift

Earlier this month I took some photos of mum and dad in the gardens at the holiday apartment that they rent.

Don also took some of mum, dad and I.

Leilani came over on Thursday and handed me a package - she'd had two of the photos (taken from my facebook album) transferred onto beautiful granite slates that sit up on a little stand.

I've never seen anything like it..they are gorgeous.

I took them both over to mum last night and said she could choose the one she wanted and I'd have the other one.

She chose the one of herself, dad and I (I was secretly delighted as I really wanted the one of her and dad )

It now has pride of place in my lounge.

a friend has two photo's they printed onto a sheet of aluminium and they look fab as well.

Yes it is Di - I've got the lovely one of mum and dad by some trees and plants.
