We have a fair few ex-Femail posters here, so I am posting some sad news I have just been given, that Purple Cat from the DM website has passed away. She had been in poor health for some time apparently

I didn't know her or recognise the name but it's always sad to hear of the passing of someone My thoughts are with her family

I do recognise the name but that's all I'm afraid. It is sad news, and she was obviously very well thought of.

I didn't know her personally either, but recognised the name from the DM so shared for anyone here who might remember xxxx

I met her a couple of times, her real name was Kim. She was in a wheelchair, but fairly able and this is very sad news.

Oh my goodness Like shell I knew her quite well in the old days and met her two or three times. Poor lady. Rest in peace Kim xxx

Thank you and I feel very sad for her as her life had always been a battle. As Loz says I hope she is at peace now.

I hadn't seen her for several years though, so can't really call her a friend.
