Bb came home with reduced French bread so garlic bread had to be done - and some for the freezer too :)

Oooh the food snobs were out in force last night :P
Nothing wrong with using a jar every now and again

 Jo I often use them, especially if I don't have a load of home grown veg to use up, but never with cottage pie (mince, onion, diced carrot, tinned chopped toms and an oxo cube does us) more so with pasta ;)

Have you tried the Lloyd Grossman ones? I got a couple of jars at Morrisons on Sunday as they were on special offer. The one with chilli in is fab 8-)

Lol no Jo, I'm not that bad! :D

I do use a jar once in a while, usually bought on offer when it makes them cheaper than tin of toms plus whatever - not very often, and I then tend to forget they're there

Just bought one of the new M&S frozen dishes :D
They are a third off at the moment.
Got the Meat Ball Stew with Borlotti Beans.
In the oven now and it smells good.
Will let you know what it tastes like.
There is quite a range including Confit Duck, Fish Pie with pastry lid.
Cottage Pie and others :D

They look nice Lissie, and a bit different - we walked through and picked up a leaflet/mag thing, do let us know what it's like :)

Also W/rose has a £10 deal on now, they vary a lot but this one has starter or dessert, main plus side, and wine or box of chocolates...off to find a link
Here

Actually it's not the best value choice but I might get the pizza for a Saturday treat, they're particularly nice (we've bought them reduced or on offer before) and all the rest could be for Sunday :)

Well it was very tasty and plenty for two :D
I don`t really think i would want to pay the full price as
the £4.50 i paid today seemed about right :)
I will certainly try the others while they are a third off ;)

Glad it was nice :)

Yes, full price is a bit much isn't it, get a few while you can if you have the freezer space.
It is nice to be able to have a decent treat though, especially if you can't get out much or can't always cook, rather than just a standard ready-meal :)
