Clacton by election

When I took my UKIP membership, mainly to give them some money and to see what they were saying internally, I ticked the box which says "Be involved in policy making".

Still waiting for the result of that one.....

I see the Tories have ordered the Rochester by-election for the 20th of November. Why the delay? Do the think the voters will have forgotten Clacton by then?

They need time to hold their "open primary". Open in the terms of choosing one of two women blessed by the party...
