Good Morning Tuesday

Morning everyone! Seems I am "First up, best dressed" this morning, although if you're all hibernating I don't blame you - it is dank, dark and dull out there again today!!

I think the tumble dryer will be doing overtime today, I postponed the washing yesterday hoping for better weather today, but no dice and it needs to be done! Unless it rains very heavily I need a walk, it was far too heavy yesterday, we got the bus to town and back

Mick has taken the dogs round the block instead of over the field, it is a mud bath on there but they still manage to be wet and muddy somehow :O Better get my mop ready.......

Yes, not quite as bad this morning out there but not brilliant. They're saying we might get some bright spells later though

I'm off to the hospital for 10 so will stick the washing in in a minute, at least we'll have clean underwear whether it dries outside or in
Later a bit of paperwork/filing/tidying then probably a nice read

I'm having a coffee break - I've been a Domestic Goddess this morning.

Beds all changed and sheets out and house cleaned from top to bottom.

Think I'll have a quick run then pootle admiring my shiny floors.

Good morning all, it's damp and dark out there but forecast to be dry and a little brighter this afternoon so Billy can wait for his walk. It's soggy over the back of us now Kaz (actually, I dread what it'll be like now after yesterday) and that'll be it now until it dries next Summer I suppose, though the ground will probably freeze solid at some point!

I'm just finishing up at the gym, then I'm going to walk across to town for a few bits. Might make a Swiss roll when I get home.

Wellies out weather then Jo! We're lucky that we have some quiet streets here to walk them when the field is impossible. Hoping for a frost maybe to harden it up, but none forecast, it seems wet and warmish is on the cards

Ally I haven't started on any cleaning yet, TBH in the rain and with the dogs you could have a mop in your hand permanently and still have mucky floors Thank goodness for floor wipes, they get the worst off from around the back door..............

Morning all - well a lot drier today thankfully. Getting home last night was a teeny bit nerve wracking as I had to drive through a few deep puddles (narrow country lanes, oncoming traffic and rain aren't a good mix) and the car engine / battery obviously got wet which resulted in the car sputtering quite a few times; thankfully it didn't stall and I managed to get home but next time I know to go the longer way with the better roads

Usual work day for me; then some leaving drinks for a colleague tonight

Ally, fancy popping over and giving my house a good clean and Loz, I'll send Ally over your way once she's finished at mine
Saundra, I'm jealous - I'd love to have a duvet day. Too late a night last night (again!) sigh... when will I ever learn

I did clean the floor in the end, with a car sponge and bucket of hot water and Flash as it looked 'proper grubby' with dried in paw prints! Then I noticed the skirtings needed it too, then I found myself by the downstairs loo and did all the walls and paintwork in there too! Obviously I have had a brain storm and need to stop there!

It's raining but my washing is in, ready to tumble later, and I really must have a walk today so I'm going to brave it! See you all later, if I don't drown
