What Are We Reading In October?

I'm speeding through Bad Mothers United by Kate Long, I didn't realise when I downloaded it that it's a follow-up to a book I read and enjoyed a few years ago - The Bad Mother's Handbook.

I am reading The Devil in Marshalsea by Antonia Hodgson. Its a R&J book club choice and I'm really enjoying it.

I need to get it finished pdq as I have another book waiting for me to collect from the library and I also need to go back to The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August for my RL book club choice.

I am STILL listening to Cuckoos Calling by Robert Galbraith (aka J K Rowling). I'm really enjoying it but just never seem to get time to listen!

I've just started reading Lost and Found - Lynda Bellingham's autobiography.

I feel so sad knowing what I know now. :(

I finished Bad Mothers United and really enjoyed it. I'm now about to make some coffee and start The Women Of Lilac Street by Annie Murray.

I've started reading though an Arthur Conan Doyle omnibus on my Kindle,
but I'm finding it rather hard-going.

I finished Daughter last night. I couldn't put the book down but at the end I threw it across the room - I was so cross with the ending!

I am going to start Pop Goes The Weasel by M J Arlidge tonight.

  Good job it was a book and not a kindle Debih ;) :D :D

Aggers, I know what you mean - Victorian authors can be very 'wordy' for modern readers, even articulate ones ;) xxx
