I have never enjoyed an omelette so much!

My first proper food since Thursday night and it is lovely.

And I have ventured out of the house. I took Millie for her usual walk but was only able to get about 1/4 of the way before I felt exhausted and we plodded back. It was really, really windy but did feel as though it blew some cobwebs away.

Had to have a sit down when I got back though. Have managed to do the recycling, get a load of washing on and vaccuum downstairs (in a very half hearted fashion).

Back to my book this afternoon I think. I don't much feel like going to Chesterfield but the weather has turned so much the girls desperately need new winter coats and I don't know when else we will fit it in before our holidays.

At least dinner is done though - my lovely friend dropped a huge shepherds pie around yesterday so we will be warming that up for tonight.

Still amused by the student halls we looked around on Saturday. They were lovely, but we walked in and the smell of food was lovely, everyone in our group was commenting on it....then we walked into the shared kitchen to find a group of students eating Pot Noodles  We were shown two rooms, both occupied, and the lovely two girls who showed us their rooms were both in their pyjamas (it was afternoon) John commented to the one girl about how tidy her room was and she said they'd been told that their rooms were "It" for the open day so they'd had to tidy up. I asked her what would happen if I opened the wardrobe - she said I'd be buried under an avalanche of shoes
