Good morning Tuesday

No work for me today - yippppeeeeee, I'm having my new dining table delivered today so have taken the day off. Then I have a friend coming round for lunch a bit later on and generally just a nice relaxed day planned with a bit of h/w thrown in.

A very wet and windy early morning it was but it seems to be clearing up - hopefully the sun will shine just a bit

It's rained heavily all night, but looks like the sun's coming out now, hope it lasts.

Not sure what we're doing today, waiting in for a delivery so it depends when that arrives really.

I spent ages yesterday afternoon sorting out clothes - putting summer ones away and getting out winter ones, so now I have A HUGE pile of ironing to do, so will get on with some of that It's chilly but dry here, so I'll get a walk later I hope

Was the hour-long, spectacular crashing thunderstorm just for us then?
No idea why I bothered trying to have an early(ish) night lol, I'd just got to sleep when Bb woke me up coming to bed, then an hour later the rain hammered against the window so hard - then an almighty flash and crash...
Poor Minnie never used to be particularly bothered but since she's been ill she gets really, really anxious. She was panting so hard it was making the French doors bang in time. I gave up and came down here
I did eventually get a little bit of sleep on the sofa, then went back to bed at 5.30 for a couple of hours. Oh well, maybe I'll have better luck tonight

Also I'm all discombobulated as I thought someone was coming today, but it's tomorrow
The sun's shining though, it could turn out to be a really good day

Pootling again for us, bbq tonight, I really need to get through all the bbq stuff I bought/made for our friends when they arrived back in June, only to be told "we don't like bbq's"

Been dry here today and the sun has been out but boy is it cold autumn/winter has arrived, Amy went to school with hat and gloves on as well as her big coat

I am still feeling unwell, managed to get an appointment with the nurse this morning and turns out i have a bad case of sinusitis as well as a terrible cough I have a week of anti biotics to take and lots of decongestant tablets with pain relief. Came home from uni and went straight to bed, tried to sleep but as soon as i relax i start coughing....annoying!

Amy will be having a visit from the tooth fairy tonight as her tooth fell out today (tooth fairy must remember not to fall asleep), she has another tooth waiting to fall out too!

I was meant to be in placement tomorrow but phoned and i will go back on Monday...I was there yesterday and everyone is lovely - just a shame i felt so awful.
