Dull and overcast but no rain..........so far.

We've only just got up and about to have brekkie and then we're off to explore. Well to be more precise and not nearly so interesting we will attempt to find our local Tesco. We know how to get there on foot, there's a footpath alongside the house which takes you to the road it's on, but it's an entirely different matter by car. Why not walk you ask, well coming back it's uphill, not a problem for me but it's definitely more than E can manage especially carrying shopping. Actually there's a nice little village nearby, again walkable for me but we will have to experiment when we don't need shopping and see if it's too much for E.

I am off today, having swapped Jan a shift so she can be off Thursday I had intended to have a look out, but the weather was atrocious until about an hour ago - it's eased off raining a bit now but the winds are still strong Mooching will have to wait.....

I've got my new Karcher cleaner so have had some fun (!) putting it together and trying it out - seems good! I've also thrown a couple of loads in the washer and done the bathrooms thoroughly, as well as polishing the upstairs - cooo I know how to live!!! What day off???

Taking Lewis for his swimming lesson tonight I think, we usually pop into the sauna while he's learning

I had a mooch in M&S after Weightwatchers and treated myself to a long cotton jumper in their sale I was going to walk home, but then it started raining again so I got the bus
