Morning all :)
Beautiful here, it sure did get cold last night but in here it's fine, no need at all for heating yet.

Bb doesn't do early if he has a choice so had set the GP to record. I of course was up and knew it had been delayed and didn't know how much time he'd added on, but he's ok ;) Also he heard on the radio upstairs about the delay so came down earlier than he otherwise would have :)
He's up to lap 29 now but has had to stop it a few times for jobs like putting up the rotary washing line ;)

Been washing like mad while we have the decent weather, today it's the second batch of more wintery clothes - a few l/sleeved t-shirts, etc.

We're going out in about an hour, taking Minnie to meet the new dog boarder. It's not far but a bit further than the other one, we'll definitely be booking her in for the night before we go ;)

Enjoy Cottage Pie Day Ally :D
Happy Birthday lovely Grumpy :D xxx
Happy Gotcha Day Fraggle :D

Jen it sounds like it could be expensive living closer :D
Saundra you poor thing, hope you get rid of it soon (((x)))

Hope you all have a good day

Lazy morning here and now we are getting ready to go out for lunch with both sets of parents.

Then back home for a lazy afternoon!

Afternoon all, we stayed in bed until almost 9.30am this morning :o Leisurely breakfast, I've put washing out and now am settling down to email people about our change of address. There's a forecast of bad weather later on so I need to keep an eye out for rain to get the washing in again  Mr. Osc is watching footie (Jo, I see you are at Old Trafford!) and then it will be golf for the rest of the day. Miss Osc and family went out for brunch, and I can hear that they have just arrived back. We will be somewhat bigger when we leave here if SIL keeps making lovely goodies like yesterday's cinnamon buns! Saundra, sorry you are still unwell :( Have a good day everyone :)

Hi all - been a funny old week!!

Today has been smashing, managed to get the ironing out of the way and then Tom and I managed a whole afternoon on our own with no distractions :D We drove across to Roker beach near Sunderland, tide was right in so no beach walking but we walked along the prom and had a coffee sitting on the side, well coffee and toast for me and T had a cheeseburger and two teas  It was gorgeous and sunny although a nip in the air. Got back and I've spent a fab couple of hours reading in the conservatory 8-) My favourite way to spend an afternoon :D

Love and hugs to all xx

Osc I'm sure you'll get smaller again once new Baby Osc arrives :D

Gal that does sound perfect :)

Well, Minnie's new dog boarder lady and her husband are both absolutely lovely, we all chatted so much we were there an hour and a half :)
They have a 9-yr-old lab called Shadow who's a bit arthritic and she'll have no other dogs while Minnie's there so they'll be just fine :)

We came back, fed Minnie, went shopping then decided to go to Wetherspoons for a roast - only to find they've stopped doing them
So we went to M&S (opposite) and got bargain reduced chicken legs instead, which are currently sitting in the oven in a yummy recipe I've used for years, with sherry vinegar & thyme, and another dish of boulangere potatoes.
Just off to do the veg - sweetheart cabbage with leeks, and carrot or green beans - or both :)
Hope you're all enjoying your evening :)

And a lovely evening in the Capri, as always. :D :D :D

Felt like "special personages", as we went in, Joao, the owner came over and shook hands, as did Fabio, his son, who also wished Grumpy a Happy Birthday - in English  then Nuno, Riccardo ans the new lad, whose name I didn't catch.

Got some strange looks from the other bods - and loved the way Fabio had a slight dig at the people who sat, at the table we'd booked, with reservado on it - set for three, when there was two of 'em.

Went to Nizette's for (another) coffee and brandy, but by heck, it's getting cold at night
