Morning all - my mood is good, but the weather is rotten Autumn has finally properly arrived, we have rain, and it's fairly cold as well Oh well, summer had a great run this year

It will be a quiet day here, out for some lunch and then round to D's - we haven't seen her all week as she's been away on a mini break, and she needs some help taking down a curtain rail

Morning all

We finally got our broadband back yesterday, whoop whoop, whatever did I do before the internet

Up bright and early as we're expecting Z and the boys to invade this morning. They were too excited to see where Nanny and Grandad live they couldn't wait another day Not sure about the weather though, it was lovely and sunny yesterday, don't think we'll be so lucky today. Not that the boys will mind so I expect we'll be taking them down to see the harbour for a fish and chip lunch.

We're just about sorted now, and beginning to feel settled. I've re-registered with a couple of estate agents and will get on the list of a few more this coming week. Don't think there's a lot on the market right now, but this way we'll be contacted as soon as any suitable bungalows become available.

Morning Kaz, morning all

Well, the rain was supposed to arrive around 4-5am, and clear by about 10, but it was clear when I got up, then got darker and darker, and finally started only 5 minutes ago. It's not the torrential hammering we were told though - not yet anyway
I bet John over the road has a smug grin as he and mini-Minnie got back 5 minutes before it started and Bb and Minnie have only just gone out
It's still warm here though, and it's meant to clear in a couple of hours then get lovely and sunny
Cooling down after today, that will be a shock

Bb will be working, locally again so hopefully not all day since it cuts the travelling time.
Not sure what I'll be doing, but Strictly and Dr Who tonight

We have our summer back it's absolutely ferlippin' gorgeous outside (sorreeee )

Bits and bobs for us today, not a lot, need to find out more about this one house Grumpy found on the old interweb, it's in the right place, but got stairs but got a pool but no kitchen or bathrooms well, the rooms are there, just not fitted

morning all,

Well the weather is rotten here too, rained all day yesterday and all night I am feeling rotten too, am choked with a cold and feel awful :'( had a cold/cough 2 weeks ago which went away and has come back as a full blown cold.....must get dressed soon as am running out of tissues.

Oh dear Also have my nieces 21st birthday party tonight, fancy dress.......am thinking I may take the car and avoid alcohol - will see how i feel in a few hours.

We always swim till the very end of October Di.

And sometimes till the middle of November - that's when our neighbours know we are mental.
