Free clothes!

Postby Diflower » 03 Oct 2014, 14:48

I got a £30 M&S voucher for taking out some insurance, so had a browse at the sale stuff online.
This morning I went and collected, am really chuffed with it :)

First a pretty cream cardigan for our holiday evenings - and any other evenings, plus that C-word ;)
Here

Then a really nice tunic top, ridiculously reduced, that's now disappeared so presumably sold out. It's a black & cream, tunic-type, for £3.49! :D
And a light blue t-shirt, the one Paddypix & I both had in white, it has short sleeves but they're quite long, almost elbow-length, and that was reduced too :)

So I still had a fiver left on the gift card, and found a top I can't see online. It's a plain black t-shirt/tunic, with a v-neck and a little breast pocket, slightly loose-fitting and will be easily dressed up if need be/I feel like it :)

ETA - the cardigan is down to only £14 now, I paid £16.50 on Tuesday ;)

Oh woweee that's quite a haul for the money!!!!! :D :D

Love the cardi, that will be ever so useful 8-) The black and cream top isn't the one I got a while back is it? Mine was reduced too and I have seen it on the sale rail in the M&S in town since then   I'd be  if you paid £3.49 for the same one :o

Blooming well done you!

This one, although rereading that post I see what you said about the viscose, so I doubt it will be the same one :)

Slightly OT but I wore that yesterday, to the funeral, with a black semi-fitted pencil skirt, black pashmina and black boots, I felt comfy but smart in it.......

Ah no, this one's more t-shirty material. I think it's 80% cotton, the rest polyester, because it has a very thin lacy overlayer - one of those they call burnout tops.

I bet yours looked lovely yesterday :)

It did look smart, and more flattering than solid black, which does me no favours really  ;)

Yours sounds very pretty, I like those lacy overlays :)

I always put on new clothes to show Bb, and he's very good, usually bothers to actually look, and makes the right noises ;)
Once in a while he'll actually say straight away, Oh yes I like that :)

So this evening I came down with the black/cream tunic thing on, he liked it and made sensible comments :)
Then I put the cardi on and immediately he stopped what he was doing (on here) and said, ooh that's lovely, I really like that, perfect for Spain - ooh and it's sparkly too... :D
Praise indeed! :D
