We've just nipped to Sainsbury's, to the Timpson concession there, to pick up my black leather boots for the funeral tomorrow - they have done a fab job of reheeling and resoling them I had another pair of boots in 'reserve' for tomorrow, but wanted to wear the leather ones as they are smarter It will be a very early start tomorrow, so I shan't be around until evening........

Ally and I had a lovely chat over coffee before she headed off to work and I came back and promptly fell asleep. I don't know why I sleep so much here when I wouldn't dream of sleeping during the day at home. She's looking forward to seeing you when you arrive next month Di. It's a pity we aren't there at the same time.

Have a lovely evening meeting up with your old friends Ria. It's always good to catch up with people you don't see very often.

It was so lovely to see you again too PP - and on your Spring visit we'll have a day together with a cocktail or two and be ladies wot lunch.
