Meniere's Disease

Postby Lozzles » 16 Jan 2013, 11:27

I saw my GP this morning and he thinks I have Meniere's Disease and has referred me to the ENT consultant as an emergency as he thinks it is quite severe. I'm going tomorrow morning.

I held it together in the surgery, but had a little cry in the car with D. I have now pulled myself together and will spend the day reading up on the condition to prepare myself for tomorrow's appointment.
Any spare thoughts, vibes or prayers (if you're that way inclined) would be lovely as I'm feeling a little sorry for myself today

Oh Loz, loads of vibes on their way (((~~~~~Loz~~~~~)))

I suffer from a version called Tinnitus - a high pitched whistling sensation in both ears. When I fist started it almost drove me mad, but as time has gone on I have learned to mentally shut it out.

The thing is that with support it can be coped with without problems. Good luck at the specialists tomorrow, and chin up.

Oh no Loz, no wonder you had a cry, that's frightening prospect.
Will be hoping and hoping that the gp is wrong and it's a bad attack of labrynthitis instead, which is bad enough but will go away.
(((((((Loz)))))))) will be sending one of these on the hour, every hour ;)
