Personally I think Farage just says what people want to here-whether he ever implements any of his promises will be another story.
shazsa.

personally i think you could apply this to the lot of them!

funny how politicians have all the answers when they are not in Govt--but none seem to happen when they get there--maybe Farage would be different

They all say what they want you to hear and think. However, more importantly, did he say something which would be either impossible or improbable for him to deliver.

Most of what Miliband is blathering about will never come to be. Simply the economy can't afford it. Most of what Cameron is going on about is deliverable, but a lot of people don't trust him on Europe. Mainly because the press keep on repeating the lie that he promised them a referendum on EU membership before he came to power.

Farage is finally coming to the hard facts of politics. It's easy to promise the earth. But the closer to delivering it he comes, the smaller the patch of turf he's actually going to turn over it becomes. Now he is making sure his promises match his ability to deliver. Someone on the team is very good indeed. A disaffected anti EU Tory probably.

Oh yes, somebody on his team has their finger on the pulse right enough. I said in my post on another thread that his tweaking of the tax system was clever, it turns out that most of his other tweaks are clever as well. It is noticeable that all of his promises are doable if the will is there. Somebody is managing the campaign brilliantly, so far.
