Morning everyone

A lovely, hot sunny morning - from inside  bit chilly outside ;) still in cut-offs and flip-flops, but now wearing a top with longer sleeves i nthe morning and evening - sleeveless during the day ;) :D :D

We've still got just the sheet on the bed, although a couple of times I've pulled my dressing gown over me - but then I've got the open window blowing cold air at me

Off shopping soon, then back for breakfast - lovely fresh bread, chunks of cheese, salami and olves. Yum :D Grumpy will be having fish   and a glass or port.

One of our lovely neighbours wants to see us sometime - she's been helping with the translating of French/Portuguese/English, so no idea what that all about.

Saundra, have a nod later and hope you're feeling better soonest xx

Hope you all have a good day and Ally is enjoying the new job x

Morning all :D

Hope you managed to get some sleep in the end Saundra, if not as Ton says a nod during the day is the way to go xxx

Visiting mother this morning and keeping fingers crossed she's in a happy mood, it's always made it easier to leave her when we go away and I guess for her this is no different. Shame it's raining right now, hope it stops soon so we can still take her out for coffee and ice cream. Actually it won't be a huge gap as we're back up here for 20 October for E's three monthly check up. Not sure where he'll be assigned to after that, but there was no point in changing his appointment so close to moving.

After seeing mother we'll pop in to say goodbye to Aunty Betty and Uncle Oscar, oh and the usual run around paying her papers (in advance for a few weeks this time) the banking and so on. We'll also find somewhere for a late lunch/early dinner.

Still got the last minute kitchen stuff to pack, leaving this pc etc until tomorrow morning.

Hope you all have a good day :D

The blue sky disappeared, it clouded over and now it's raining again!
Tomorrow, Friday and Saturday are all meant to be nice and sunny again though, and 21c :)

Jen that's the consolation isn't it, and I bet your mother will be quite sure she saw you only a day or so ago when you go back (((xx)))

I have a gorgeous-smelling loaf baked this morning in the b/maker 8-) :)

Well, it's up, but we haven't got round to running it yet.
When it was delivered yesterday, we were told that they couldn't install it because the wall
switch was only a 13 amp one, and we would have to get an electrician to fit another one.
We managed to get an electrician to come round and he did the job and completed the
installation at half the price we would have had to pay the supplier, i.e. John Lewis.
We are still studying the instruction manual !

Good afternoon all, the sun's shining here again after a very wet night, a bright start and a dull morning. Joe didn't have to be in school until 10 so I skipped the gym, walked Billy and then came home to make sure he was up and out before going to do some shopping.

Saundra, I hope you manage to get some rest today xx

Have a good day all!
