Mary Berry on WDYTYA

Well that wasn't a family to be proud of was it?

Great grandad selling substandard bread to the workhouse for a fortune and being supported by his pals on the parish council and as for the other Mary Berry?????? Did anyone else wonder if her father, Christopher was also the father of her children? Why else was he paying for his wife and 6 of his children to be kept in the workhouse? Surely if she had had four illegitimate children, he would have thrown her out long before? Very suspect :? :?

We had similar thoughts about the Mary Betty programme shell.

Also agree with you about Martin Shaw, a really good episode.
