Woooooo hooooo thanks for that news Poll..I am very happy. :D :D

Good morning. :D :D

Picking mum and dad up this morning and bringing them over here for the day - it's my lovely mum's 77th birthday! :D :D

I've made her favourite crock pot of cottage pie for lunch. :D

There's presents and cards for her to open and Craig's sent a bouquet of flowers. :D :D

Dropping them back about 4.30 as I have a staff meeting at 5pm. :D :D

Meeting Don in town when it's finished for our Friday night beers and tapas. :D :D

Have a good day everyone. :D

Morning Poll, Ally and everyone

Well that is good news :D :D

And a very Happy Birthday to your mum Ally xx Hugs all round today :D

Up early, as off to the Gladys clinic - well, it's not until 10.00 ish, but we have to beat the traffic  and although it's not raining at the moment, it's supposed to empty down, with a thunderstorm or three thrown in

Shopping on the way back and then yet another chat to Felipe

Enjoy your day everyone and hope we all have a good day xx

Morning all.

A good start to the day.

A morning of housework and an afternoon of knotting lie ahead for me.

Then I have to go meet the girls in town to look at PE kits. The school have introduced two new pieces of kit - a hoodie and leggings. I was under the impression they were optional but both girls have come home saying they aren't allowed to wear leggings or an extra layer on top during PE unless they are the new PE uniform. So I'll be coming home £70 lighter. Grrrrrr.

Party tonight.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Good morning all, and Poll I did the same and was very relieved to see the No result!!! :D :D

Happy Birthday to your mum Ally, I hope she has a wonderful day :) xxx

Happy Birthday Osc, wishing you a smooth move today and hoping your sale gets signed and sealed :) xxx

Hope all goes well at the Gladys clinic Ton xxx

That's a real pain Debih, sounds expensive

It's raining here, but luckily the forecast is better for tomorrow as Ria is coming to stay, and we are going to Bourton on the Water :) :D :D :D :D

Bit peeved on B's behalf as there are issues with her re-enrolment! Her course is actually with SGS who are attached to UWE - all is well with SGS but they are also supposed to re-enrol with UWE too, online, but the website is faulty! Some of them on the course, including B, buttonholed their tutor yesterday and she said she would email them last night to see if they have to go in again today in person or not! Up until 10.30 there was still no email so she might have to go in just to make sure! Hoping there is an email there for her when she gets up shortly  Not impressed with the admin there one bit, we had serious issues last year with her finance, she was incorrectly led to believe she'd need a retake this summer when she didn't which caused weeks of anxiety, and now this :?

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

:D :D :D to the NO vote, youngest daughter Z's husband is a Scot from Aberdeen and I know they'll both be delighted with the result.

Good luck at the clinic Ton xxx

Hope the move goes smoothly Osc.

Happy birthday to your mum Ally :D

Got more packed yesterday and it's beginning to look like progress, in other words there are more filled boxes than stuff littered all over the place. Also printed off letters to all the peeps who need change of address via mail like state pension, work pension and so on. Still have a list to do online but will leave that until the day before we move as the banks update overnight. Luckily redirection can be done online these days too so got that done as soon as we got our new address.

More packing today, hopefully with what's left to do we should be finished over the weekend.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
We had rain overnight (much needed) and very loud thunderstorm this morning, but without rain.
Christchurch and other places have quite bad floods, it came down so hard so quickly there was nowhere for it to go.
Missed the forecast but it's ok now.

Lots of busy people today, good luck Jen, nearly there :)
Good luck Ton (((x)))
Kaz it's so annoying isn't it, hope it's all sorted out today, and hope the weekend weather's good ;)
Ally Happy birthday to your mum :)
Debih that's daft isn't it, and expensive!
Osc hope the move goes well for you and Miss Osc too (((x)))
Saundra hope you're feeling better (((x)))
Hope that's everyone :)

Fingers crossed we'll have youngest for the weekend - will be making Bolognese in anticipation :)
Have a good day all
