My plans depend on the weather, but if it stays dry I'll be out for a walk later. Otherwise I have ironing to do, and will do that in front of the tv, as I need distraction when I do the dreaded deed I also want to finish my book, The Third Wife, as I am about three quarters of the way through and really curious about the ending!

B was up and out of the house by 6.30, to re-enrol at Bristol! I was already awake as for some reason I woke at 4 and struggled to get back to sleep! B will have to get used to the early starts as from next week she'll be doing that three times a week to get a reain just after 7 to get to lectures for 9.30 She applied for a weekend job yesterday, just a small retail unit in town selling handbags (must be genetic) so can I please ask for vibes that she at least gets an interview? She'll be living at home this year so no living costs, and her tiny maintenance loan will cover her train fares but she needs a job for spending money and to save for her travels next summer!

Usual day at the office today and then tomorrow I have the day off - yippeee. Was planning on doing loads in the garden but the forecast for tomorrow is looking rather wet so I'll see how much I get done.

A bit misty here but already bluish sky. Yes meriad they are saying possible downpours tomorrow - but only 'possible' so fingers crossed

Good luck to B for the job Eldest starts back on Monday so is intending using these few days trying for jobs. He's been working in a pub over the summer and has high hopes as there are a couple very nearby the house he's sharing so he wants to get in quick, since most of the summer staff will have just left

had to ring surgery yesterday feel very tired and kidney ache

I've just come home from seeing boss lady - I am so chuffed with her comments.

She said I'd done a sterling job at summer school in August - all the students that I'd given lessons to have passed all their necessary exams!

And one little lad Alejandro absolutely insisted I be his teacher for next year so Liz has jiggled the time table to allow this.

I have my first staff meeting at 5pm tomorrow.

Oh...and Don has done the hoovering so I've promised him I'd make lunch.
