Sounds good Cruiser, look forward to hearing all about it
Well, eldest was late. Bit of a party last night, his last before going back to uni since tonight he'd have to pack; he only got up half an hour before he was due to come here, his mum took one look at him and said 'You're not driving'!
He didn't phone here, but got a lift from his grandma so I think she must have been coming this way already.
He reckoned a Wetherspoons All day brunch would be just the job to sort him out and was really looking forward to the eggs, until the plate was in front of him
It was quite funny, he ate a sausage and the bacon, and quite a lot of chips, 3 glasses of water and a coke...
We came back here but Bb had to rush off to work at 3 so didn't have time to take him home - No worries, says eldest, he was happy to stay and have a cup of tea with me and then get the bus from the end of our road.
Minnie and I walked up there with him - and no bus came
Poor thing then had to walk back into town (via all the bus stops in case it came) to the bus station, which seemed the best bet.
A few lessons learned, I think, to do with planning/drinking/thinking ahead/consequences
