Morning Poll, morning all :)
Not quite as clear this morning but still nice, and going to stay dry.

Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous, really hot in the sun.
Bb went out and came back early, then was here doing several hours' paperwork so I couldn't do the cleaning etc around him.
After lunch we took advantage and went just along the coast for a lovely walk by the sea - Minnie had a good swim :D - then I treated us to tea and cake :)
There were people in the sea and bikinis on the beach :D

Today he's working, so I really must get a few things done!
Poll will be thinking of you, let's hope it can be fixed quite easily and soon (((x)))

Hope the poorlies are feeling better, hope you all have a good day

Morning Poll, I will be thinking of you this afternoon!! Good luck {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{x}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Morning Di, that sounds like a perfect late summer's day yesterday 8-) :)

Well the weather has started dull here, looks like it might rain later! Harry arrived last night with a huuuuge long list of stuff he needs for an overnight camp for his Duke of Edinburgh award, so our day out will mostly be spent in the sports shops and Go Outdoors I reckon   He has to leave early tomorrow as well as he has a football match at 11am. Oh well, at least we are seeing him this weekend!

Have a good day everyone, I hope all the poorlies are feeling better and those on the move (Osc, Jen) are getting sorted xxxxx

Morning Poll, morning all. :D

Dull here but not cold. :D

Yesterday's funeral was very moving.

The family are Irish catholic and had come over from Ireland and America so there was plenty of people there.

After the burial we went to a social club for the wake - Mr Kenney was 93 when he died, had lived a good, long fun life, and we were assured by the family that the noise and laughter at his wake would be just what he wanted.

We went out last night to meet loads of friends...and got in at 3am.

This morning we're off to Joanie's with Craig and Leilani, then going to Kavanagh's to meet Ed to watch the B'ham Leeds footy game on Sky and have lunch. :D

They'll then go back to Nottingham, Ed's off to Portugal and we're going into town to get some last minute bits. :D

Back to Jackie's, a couple of beers in her local and then bringing fish and chips back to the house. :D

Phew!

Good luck today Poll and wishing everyone a good day. :D

Morning all :D

Good luck at the hospital Poll x

We go home today and I was getting a bit worried we wouldn't have a rental before we left, but yippee it was finally sorted yesterday lunchtime :D :D :D We can collect the keys on 27th, exactly 2wks from now. What a relief it is knowing we have a home lined up for at least 6mths. We'll start searching again for a bungalow when we get settled in.

Off to have brekkie when E gets out of the shower. Will be stopping off to spend time with Z and the boys so probably won't get home until quite late.

Hope you have a good day :D

Morning all.

Feeling a little better this morning but now worn myself out doing jobs so I intend on spending the rest of the day sitting knitting. Dinner is in the slow cooker so nothing to do there.

I thought I was going to have to drive to fetch Micks parents from their coach that is dropping them off from their cruise ship (theyve been to Russia) but fortunately they are arriving early and so it fits nicely in between S needing to be taken to and collected from work so Mick has gone. So, L has gone swimming, Mick has gone to Trowel services and S has gone to work. Time for knitting and tv catch up.

Good luck this afternoon Poll.

Hi all - back to work for me this morning, talk about baptism of fire! I feel like I have never been away :| Fortunately apart from my voice being croaky still and that pesky cough bothering me, I coped v well, boss commented on it, and said he was really glad to have me back! Got some news too that one of our long serving girls is leaving ( ) - her 18 year old daughter has just had a baby and atm they are all living at her house, I think Kath wants to drop her hours/travelling time so is moving somewhere closer....I do feel sad though she is a great girl and it's such a shame that her daughter's life is affecting hers quite so much :(

Gorgeous day here - we'll soon be getting Lily-cuddles as they are calling in here on the way home from a day out at a local-ish beauty spot - can't wait to see them :) Amy slept here last night but she had left by the time I returned from work - Tom was up and out by six :| Usual takeaway tonight I think and some daft telly....I reckon T will be in bed before 10 as he has another early start tomorrow :|

Have a great weekend everyone xxx
