Mad dog fun!!

Postby Ally » 15 Jan 2013, 08:31

I started work at 2pm yesterday but decided to go in early and have an hour or so on the beach first. :D

I walked along the sand and then parked myself on some rocks just watching the waves..and along comes a lady with the loveliest little dog.

I was in stitches laughing at the dog as it kept running into the water trying to get at a seagull that was just sitting on the water.
If a seagull is capable of giving a look that says 'naff off dog' then I've found it.

It really was funny.

I tried to get a photo of the dog but it was just too fast moving..and ended up with a pic of the seagull flying off..obviously having had enough of the little dog.

Simple pleasures...

Awww

There's a sandy patch of ground on the Chase and Billy goes crazy when we walk there. This Summer he's going to Cornwall with us and it'll be his first experience of the beach, I can't wait!! :D

When our dog was a puppy he chased a seagull on Aberdovey beach - and followed it into a pool
of sea water. He thrahed about like mad and eventually got out, but it left him with a permanent
fear of water, and he has never ventured into water since.
That suits us because, with the weather we've been having, he doesn't muddy like most other dogs.

Aw Jo he will love it!! We've taken Pepper on holiday twice - even put with with some very basic accomodation instead of upgrading so we could take her - and it was such a lot of fun!!!! Like taking a toddler who has never been to the seaside before :D

Billy doesn't like mud either Aggers, it amazes me how he can very quickly change direction to avoid puddles and mud when running at full pelt

Awww
It was horrible last year thinking that he was stuck at home with MIL - just about everyone seemed to have a dog! We did miss him.
The farm we go to allows dogs so we've not had to look for an alternative.

When we took our Newfoundland to the seaside, he was about 10 months old and he was a nightmare. All he wanted to do was round everyone up and get them out the sea
