Sounds like a really good day :)

We did the boat down the Thames once, and that was choppy - cold too because it was in early Feb one year  Have you ever done the Tower Bridge Exhibition? That's pretty good and the views up and down the river from the high corridor walkways between the towers are wonderful!

It was utterly wonderful :)

Thanks so much for posting all the detail Kaz xx
Oh but no I didn't have bacon...I actually chose and intended ordering something else altogether, but had the handmade burger with jalapenos and sour cream ;)

But wasn't that lovely, walking through that pub in Greenwich and happening on the market? :D Ooh it was lovely, curries - 'please try', falafels, the tiny-weeniest pancakes I've ever seen, that gorgeous bread..

The poppies had us all kind of mesmorised for quite a long time, you just have to look and look, and think...

I do wish we weren't mid-sandwich when we saw the guys with the Invictus Games sweatshirts and passes, or I'd have talked to them.
I wish it was going to be tomorrow ;)

That sounds like a really lovely day.

The market sounds wonderful and viewing the poppies must have been an amazing, and thought provoking sight.

It was fabulous 8-) I was happy to post and share about it, and glad people have enjoyed hearing about it :D

Di sorry, I thought it was the bacon but can remember the jalapenos now  That market was a really vibrant and interesting place 8-)

Jo I haven't seen that, in fact it had been many years since I'd been there, possibly school days! Not sure I'd fancy that trip in February :o  xxxx

Saundra heights give me bad vertigo, ever since I had an attack of BPV years ago, I get very dizzy and a strong urge to lie flat  so I wouldn't go on The Eye, although Ally fancied going up The Shard, which was fairly close by :D

Kaz, we did the bus tour one February too - and with the boys being young then, open top was the only way to go according to them

I like Borough Market, just over the river, food, food and more food :D

Jo Borough Market is right near where I had to go several times to see the specialist about my shoulder, so it was my reward :D
