Snowed overnight and forecast heavy for this afternoon

I went out this morning and got shopping in for a few days before the snow came.

Guess what--it is bucketing down with rain :?

It's lovely to look at if you've not got to go anywhere isn't it Saundra
Tom said the hilly paths around the school were treacherous today.

Rain/sleet has now turned to snow here and it's coming down quite heavily.

My evening out has been cancelled and eldest is pretty certain his footy tonight will be cancelled.

It is pretty though :)

It snowed for about 4 hours earlier, but although it settled on the existing snow it didn't settle on the roads. It is spitting with rain now and the roads were fine. Although for some unknown and totally daft reason I got off the dual carriage way too early and had to drive through a windy housing estate and then up through the village, the roads were still fine though
