There was a photo posted on Facebook last night of someone's 3-tier pork pie wedding cake - so there's obviously some call for them somewhere

I was sorry to see Norman go as I really liked him, and his style of baking appealed to me more than a lot of the fancy stuff, but I think it was time for him to go all the same. Really like Martha, Richard and Chetna but can't warm to Luis or Kate. Kate reminds me too much of an annoying woman who used to have children in both Tom and Joe's classes.

Oh, that's not on, they have maternity wards for that kind of thing.

I quite liked Norman's grub, but I guess that it was a touch too 'rustic' in it's presentation for him to go much further.

Yes, I'd tend to look at his bakes and think "I could be on there" rather than "Wow, I wish I could do that!" :)

I am wondering if there will be a 'free' week along the way, one where nobody gets booted out.

Diana has dropped out through illness, so that leaves the series a week short if normal procedures are followed.

:) Frank

but I'm glad they both were kept in.

GBBO An Extra Slice this coming Friday should be an interesting one - Diana will be the visiting contestant this week; not sure how she will stand up to Jo Brand :?
