Oh goody :D

I haven't been to the Tower since I was junior school age, only to see the outside :)
Compared to things around here it's good value tbh.

If we have time after and the weather's good (which it will be of course), a wander along the Thames is lovely, there's Tate Modern nearby, or just go across one of the bridges, like the Millennium. I love being on a bridge, you're somehow removed from the rest of London...

It's going to be like a whole holiday in one day :D

I had a look at the website and it says you can see the poppies from Tower Hill without paying the entrance fee. That is good as I am going with a friend in October, and we have a day out on a budget

We plan to do a walking tour of the bridges Di

for future reference

Oh that looks great too. :D

I love bridges!! :D :D

I done the bridges over the river Clyde last June when I was up at mum and dad's - a whole day walking miles myself, just me, bridges and my camera.

Thank you, it won't be until October after Luke moves in and I have some spare time.

I would have loved to have joined you, but sadly the timing just wasn't right but sounds like you will have a fab time 8-) 8-)

That walking tour looks lovely Mm, BB and I have done a lot of it :D

The poppies were after all our main point of going (as well as actually meeting each other of course); I'm saving about £60 on the normal train fare so I'm more than happy :)

If you haven't already done the millenium bridge , it is FANTASTIC.

It is a pedestrian bridge , and when you are near the middle , you can hear no traffic at all. :x :x
