I wish I had got on here quicker, you need to buy Oyster cards. They work out a much better saving than travel cards and you can save any unspent money for next time

It's fine, I don't need an Oyster I'm very unlikely to travel to London again for the foreseeable :)

Just looked at Oysters anyway and the cheapest was £13, so not cheaper for me :)

Not sure where you looked Kaz but I have been and looked at Transport for London and if anyone else is interested an Oyster card is £5 and then you put a £5 top up on. If you decide you wont use it again you can reclaim your initial £5 and any unused credit. It is capped so it never costs anymore than a travel card would.

Just saying in case it helps and I like the fact you can lend it to other people, my friend has mine this weekend as she is in London

I looked here and you can see the scale of charges, but if it can be done cheaper and suits others here then great :)

How strange wonder if a visitor Oyster card is different :?: :?:

Not sure who is going, but I won't be, so if anyone wants my oyster card I am happy to post it to them and they can post it back, that way it will only cost the price of a stamp and £5 top up

We actually have two if that is any good?

I know but I just can't spare a Tuesday at the moment, we have so much to get done.

I am sure you will have a fantastic time though and I really hope I get to see the poppies too

(auto correct changed that to puppies, good job I noticed or you would have been confused  )

I will if I can! The stall I'm on is marketing curry pastes and rubs. It's a trade show so I'm not sure how much will be given away.
