The other one may well be lovely but the website seems a bit new and doesn't have much detail.

Just do it lol :D x

Another thing sorted.

excellent - i'll check with them to see if I can reserve a table. What time? I should hopefully be there by 5.30 but figure you all may be tired after all your London viewing so want to relax earlier?

Oh I so can't wait to catch up xxxxx

Because I'm heading out I've just gone online and booked a table for 6 people (if we do turn out to be more we'll just have to either pull up another table or squish up). The booking is under my name for 5pm. There are earlier options available so let me know what time you want and I'll amend if I can.

5 sounds good to me, we don't want to have to rush about :)

Oops hit post too early! And Bb's 2nd meeting finishes at 4 so that's good for him too :)

How bizarre!!!!!

Don's just checked his bank balance online and seen a debit of £14.50 for Virgin rail.

That is not the sum he paid when he booked my train tickets for me - it's rather less!!

I then rang Jackie and asked her to open the letter that contains my tickets and the outgoing journey is different to what Don booked.

It's all good though. :D :D :D

My train leaves Birmingham International (2 mins from Jackie's house so mega convenient) at 9.05am and gets into Euston at 11.17.

I'll then just jump on the tube to Tower Hill. :D

The train home leaves Euston at 21.03 and gets back at 22.18.

The outgoing journey is half an hour longer than expected - but as an avid train lover I'm happy with that. :D :D

It's cost Don just £13.50 for my return Birmingham to London ticket (plus £1 to have the tickets sent to Jackie's) - so he's happy with that.
