I read that Brown is going around hoping to change the trend. I wouldn't think the Scots will welcome him with his dismal record when in power.

i watched the first 20 mins then had to turn it over......I made my mind up a while ago and am worried what the results will be............have even contemplated moving south if the vote is a yes!

Sorry poll, I have always wanted the Scots to vote "No" because I do not want to witness the break up of the greatest union the world has ever seen.

However, if the vote is "Yes" why should rUK open its doors to "No" voters?

You have had plenty of time to make your case and if you fail you should have to make the most of the result, without the option of running away. Maybe that should have been made clear right from the start of this fiasco.

Kaz, I was not meaning for it to be harsh, especially not to Poll, but if it is the case that it was taken personally then I hereby apologise to Poll unreservedly.

What I was trying to say is that it should have been made clear from the very start that if Scotland voted "Yes" and it later went pear-shaped, as it could well do, there would not be the option of simply upping sticks and walking away. Scotland would be an independent country and its citizens would be Scottish citizens and should be prepared and expected to do their best and work for Scotland.

I switched it on, then I turned the sound down, and then I switched it off. Alex Salmond comes across as a bully. I have always wanted Scotland to stay within the UK, but if they want to go there's nothing to be done about it. Whether they will be better off, we will find this out in time.
