I would imagine that your Kindle Email address is the same as the one you use for Kindle
except that it ends @Kindle.com instead of @bt.com or @sky.com etc.

You can download any file from your own computer on to your Kindle - it doesn't have to be a book.

That's why it has to have a different address - which I believe is your usual address but with the suffix @Kindle.com

Err no Aggers you can't, not if it's 'just' a kindle. I think you must have a kindle hd or something?
A plain kindle is just a book-reading device, it has no interaction whatsoever with any files on a pc :?

Well, Di, my Kindle is just an ordinary basic Kindle, and I've downloaded files
from my laptop to it, via the Internet, using the Email address they gave me
when I bought it.

I know I can download files from my laptop to my Kindle Keyboard but have never actually worked out how to do it!

http://www.amazon.com/gp/sendtokindle/email

I have found my kindle email address so I will message you Aggers.

The above link explains it somewhat. It seems that I have to approve the email address that you will be sending the document from Aggers before my Kindle will accept it!! So let me know that and I will work out how to approve it and then let you know that I'm ready to receive!

It also appears that every device that has the kindle app on it has a separate email address! I think I shall send you the one for my actual kindle as I am not sure how much space it will take or how it will affect the space on my ipad. If it doesn't go through to that one then we can give the ipad a go.

Don't understand what they're on about though, and can't think what it's for really :?
