Good morning everyone.

It's lovely here now. I really enjoyed my morning walk with Prince.

Hope you all have a happy, carefree day.

We're off shopping any minute.

Morning all :D

We had a nice day yesterday. The film was much better than I was expecting, okay a lot of nonsense really, but lots of bullets, lots of mayhem, who knew a bunch of old guys could be so much fun :D E loved it and chuckled throughout so job done I say 8-) Afterwards we had a nice meal and then came home and opened a bottle of bubbly. Still not completely happy about our situation, the uncertainty around where we'll be moving isn't good, but this house is sold and for the price we wanted so that's definitely worth celebrating.

Oh and we got back home to a voicemail from our agent asking if our buyers can come round to do some measuring up. For goodness sake can't they let up for even a minute, honestly give us a break, let the dust die down and ask in a couple of weeks time  It's not as though there's much for them to do, we're leaving all the carpets, curtains, blinds, and kitchen appliances so what's to measure :? They literally only have to move furniture in and this house isn't exactly small  E who's normally Mr.NiceGuy, was less than impressed and said 'I'm tired of being nice, tell them to p**s off'. We're not petty and of course we will let them come round, but not right now, it will be a much better atmosphere if they leave it until we know what we're doing.

Popping over to see mother this morning, fingers crossed we can take her out for coffee and ice cream. This afternoon we have the first of three removal companies coming to assess how much our move will cost (the other two are coming out tomorrow). It's all a bit complicated as they'll need to give us a couple of quotes, one for the bungalow and it's restricted access and the other for a 'normal' move if we end up in a rental. We also need to know how much storage is in case we have to do that for a couple of weeks. Will be good to know how much it's going to cost although I've a nasty feeling it won't be cheap!!

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good luck with it all Jen xx Let the people do the measuring next week - sod 'em.

We got a couple of quotes, when we thought we were moving - and they cost more than the move over from England   And that was just removal, no storage
