Good Morning Ally, and everyone :) :)

Houseworky day today, plenty needs doing so we'll be tackling that - I'll iron and hoover and B can do the windows and clean the main bathroom ;) It's feeling autumnal but is sunny so hopefully some washing will dry....

Have a good day :) xxx

Morning :)
Lovely and sunny here but cold - this air from the arctic should shove off back where it belongs! :D

Had a lovely time yesterday with my cousin and her little girl - when they eventually got here, poor things, the traffic was appalling. I'd made a pasta bake thing which was quite happy covered in foil in a low oven; they were starving by then so demolished two helping each plus h/m tear and share bread :)
We're planning on them coming again on Thursday, for a bbq if it's nice enough.
Off to the hospital this morning, then will wait and see how the weather is.

Have a good day all
Di

Morning all. Sunny and chilly here too, but I like it :D
Dog walking and shopping this morning. This afternoon we have a solar panel bloke coming. Mr L arranged it, but I'm staying out of the way. I'm not in the mood for salesmen
Tango tonight :D
Hope all goes well at the hospital today Di xxx
Have a good one chums x

Hope the hossie goes ok Di :)

Loz you do right, let the mister sort it ;)

I don't really mind it being a bit chillier, as long as the sun is out :D Tons of washing to dry here, not only the stuff from yesterday that only got half dry before it rained, so I had to fetch in, but just found a load full that B must have put in last night! I'd rather line dry it, I do resent putting on the dryer at this time of year ;)

Morning all

Good luck with the hospital appointment Di. And 100% agree - this cold wind needs to go away; I want my summer back!

Kaz, I do hope the washing gets dry; I love the smell of line dried washing. I used to have a dryer but gave it away because I hardly used it. Thankfully living on my own it's OK to have a clothes horse in the house for the washing when it's needed

Loz - good luck with the solar panels. I need to check with my brother and his wife, but from memory they had an issue with theirs in that the connection to the grid or something like that took forever and a day to be done (the paperwork bit I think it was) so they lost out quite a bit and are still trying to get it sorted. Let me give her a ring to find out what it was just so you can make sure that if you go ahead with the panels you don't end up with the same problems

have a lovely day all x

Morning everyone

Hot with a few clouds around.

We overslept  and will be having brunch after our second cup of coffee ;) BBQ tonight.

Good luck with the hospital Di xx

Ironing for me :( Grumpy is under orders to sort out his workshop - by which I mean our garage    It's our way out to the back and I like to walk through it, rather then climb through it

Hope you all have a good day xx

Thanks people, in and out in record time! I was back so quick Bb thought they hadn't done it :D
Actually it was because they're mega-busy and the lovely Jackie grabbed me quick, put me in an ordinary chair and got on with it while she could :D

I do like sunny and cold - but not in August!! It's always been late August when we've had the boys for a week, and when we've gone away all have only ever taken shorts and t-shirt type clothes. It can get cooler in the evenings by this time, but last year I took one thin jumper and never wore it :)

Lol yes Ton you don't want to go breaking something - and he doesn't want you to either ;) :P
Bb's been very good and cleaned some windows - without me even hinting

Morning all :D

Wow that was quick Di, glad it went smoothly xxx

We're going to have a house free day today. Off to the cinema later to see Expendables 3, okay not really my kind of film, but E will love it and after all I did manage to sit through the first two  Afterwards we'll have a late lunch/early dinner out.

Hope you all have a good day :D
