Lol I was born with that memory :D
It's not quite as good as it used to be, I really did used to remember just about everything ;)

Debih the donkey derby is a brilliant compromise, since it will have been busy and they're not actually dependent on you :)
As for the rest - I'd be absolutely like you, and as a child would have been more than happy with that.
Bb's boys, while lovely, are not as bad but a bit like hers, especially youngest. Unfortunately, having them once a fortnight does not negate the other 12 days ;)

The donkey thingy sounds a good idea, like Di said.

Di I was the same re memory but these days it's nowhere near as good   That's how I got through my O levels without revising

Don't get me started on having to try to reverse certain parenting decisions :?

:P I have chocolate

My Mom tried everything to get me to revise and eventually said she'd give me £10 for every O Level I passed. I think she thought her money was safe as I still didn't bother to revise.

£60 went a long way in 1985 thank you very much

I did feel bad for her on Sunday.

They came to the geach on the off chance and had nothing with them - no change of clothes, towels, etc.

I eventually said to her if you want to leave the lads with me I'll be fine - you go get lunch, have a ride out, come back with towels and change of clothes, she left them with some money so I sent them all to get chips, sent the lads to hire body boards for an hour. Sat and read my book and completely ignored them. Youngest came out half a dozen times to moan about hurt thumb, head, knee, ankle but I just ignored him and said if he could still move it and was still breathing he was fine (I'm dead sympathetic me).

After an hour called them out to take body boards back and then sent them in to swim so I could carry on reading. Pulled them out as tide was so high they were likely to smash against rocks, sent them for ice cream to give them time to dry off, took them to pub for a coke so I could carry on reading.

Mum arrives to collect them, finds us at pub (I told her if not beach, well be in pub) and youngest says can you just drop us off with Debbie every day - it's much more fun. I did nothing - ignored them as much as possible then took them to the pub so I could finish my book!!!
