Morning all. Lovely morning though rain forecast for later - though it was forecast yesterday too and didn't really come to anything.

Not sure of plans for the day. If it stays dry we will be going to the beach this afternoon.

I am going to be pampered in half an hour. :D

Morning everyone :) Saundra we have sun too, but sharp showers/sun seems to be the pattern here for the next couple of days

Debih have a great day, enjoy the pampering 8-) :)

We had a late night, Mick's brother and his wife have been staying at D's this weekend, on their way home from Italy, and they popped round yesterday evening. We cracked open some wine, and before we knew it, it was almost midnight  Feeling a bit tired this morning but otherwise unscathed ;)

Not sure what is happening today, might pop to town as H wants to return something he bought in Sport Direct that doesn't fit.........Otherwise usual Monday stuff, washing and cleaning etc

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Big hugs for (((((((osc and family))))))) xxx

Waiting around this morning to hear from the garage about the courtesy car. When the assessor looked at it on Friday he noticed damage to the radiator, how much is difficult to say, it's not leaking, but while he said it should be okay driving it short distances locally, it's definitely not safe to undertake a long journey. I've made them and the insurance bods aware I'm driving to Kent tomorrow morning and have hotels booked right through until Friday. The garage have promised to ring by lunch time today, the issue is I need an automatic, and LV have said if they fail to provide a suitable car LV will source one themselves. Fingers crossed it doesn't go to the wire............

We must pop down the road sometime today too, need more salad to go with yesterday's leftover chicken.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning it's a bright one here, although a bit windy and noticeably cooler, with a definite autumnal feel to it. I fell into bed before 11.30 last night although astonishingly, Mr. Osc stayed up until 2am to see Rory McIlroy win the USPGA in fine style, so at least it was worth it. Miss Osc and Michael were up and about shortly after 7am, so of course, we were awake too and out of bed by 8.15am. Mr. Osc has gone back to bed for a while, and I'm trying to resist the urge to do the same - I'll hang out the washing and maybe go for a walk. Mind you, I can foresee a nap in the chair later in the day  Otherwise the plan for the day is to take it easy, I have to post something I sold on ebay, might do some reading or knitting.

The man came with the pump early this morning but apparently the water has virtually disappeared and he didn't see much to be pumped, which I suppose is good news. Hopefully the agent will get on with organising whatever remedial work is required, and replacing carpets, and Miss Osc and family can return to normal life as soon as possible. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning everyone. Sorry I've been awol lately but busy busy busy here. I've been across to Newcastle to collect my grandson Patrick and we have him here for his two weeks annual holiday with Grandma and Grandpa hence it's all go on the activity front. I'm fairly knackered already and he has another ten days to go.
