Morning all. Very windy here but I think we've slept through the worst of it.

Not sure of plans for today - it's definitely not a beach day.

Morning all, snorkels at the ready? It's totally POURING down here

Debih this is only supposed to last a day or so, then the forecast is good 8-) :)

We'll be strapping on our water wings later to go to Morrisons, but otherwise staying indoors in the dry   Anyone who has a £5 fruit and veg voucher from the Sun, they expire today

Have a good day :) xxx

Morning all :)
Yep, ex-Bertha's arrived :D

They don't half enjoy building these things up don't they? Yes it's raining - very hard at times - some rumbles of thunder - and it's a bit windy.
Not really very dramatic - but that doesn't make for 10 minutes of weather-padding programme does it? :D
And by about lunchtime it's going to have cleared up from this part of the country and we're going to get some sunshine :)

Meanwhile, have put the breadmaker on so I don't have to go out in it if I don't want to ;)
Hope you all manage to have a good day
Di

Good morning. :D

We must have the rest of the world's sun and heat - it is furnace hot here.

After a mad, boozy bonkers 3 days I am totally chilling out today - and we are definitely going to catch up with TV that we've recorded!

Conor is back from Almeria tonight - I've missed his lovely smile. :D :D :D

Have a good day everyone. :D :D

Morning :)

Dry and calm here think the worst is down south an up north, saw something on facebook about Orkney being affected :/

We were at a friends wedding reception last night, good to see lots of old work colleagues from years ago and Amy had a great time, she is still snoozing, I on the otherhand have hardly slept, always the same when i have alcohol these days :( Didnt have much, maybe 5/6 drinks! Lol

Anyway, lazy day planned here, no doubt 40 winks on the couch later!

Oh and 3 years today I have been a non smoker :)

Morning all - Kaz I suspect I could swim from here to yours... it has been pouring down for the past three hours or so. But same as where Di is, come afternoon it's meant to be clearing up and then sunshine.

Poll, well done on the 3 years no smoking - that's excellent

I had a lovely day with my friend yesterday - she came up from Brighton so we had a mooch around the shopping centre; we both treated ourselves to new handbags. She did need one - I didn't but hey ho

Today is a bit of cleaning the house and doing washing and then at 1pm I'm collecting Nadine and she's going to come with me to look at flooring options. My brother is going to help me put down new flooring in the lounge and passages next weekend. The carpets are beyond manky and with the cats having a 'wood' floor vs carpet is just so much easier and more practical.

That's about all I have planned for the day

have a lovely one everyone and enjoy what ever it is you're up to xxx

Good morning, all.

It's raining cats and dogs here, as they say. Just back from a quick dog-walk, absolutely soaked.

Won't be going out far today.. Indoor pursuits are on the menu.

Have a nice day - and keep dry.
