Jenny,
Sorry to hear about your accident. Any of the deer's fur embedded in the car? Suggest you hose piop;e the front to remove any debris.
Had a sheep run into the side of my car. It was a yellow Vauxhall Cavalier, a company car which I had only had for a week. I was driving over the moors between Haliiax and Rochdale at the time.
Don't know what happened to the sheep, it just ran off.
Big dent in the drivers door.

It is nasty.

It's always happening round here because there are so many deer.

I'm sure it was killed outright, but think yourself lucky, as quite a lot of motorists are severely injured or even killed when the deer hits the windscreen.

How frightening and upsetting, Jen. I remember seeing the car in front of me hit a dog once, I was really upset because it was obviously fatally injured.
