That big yellow thing in the sky is blazing down again.

Off to the airport this morning to pick our friends up who are staying with us tonight.

They have a time share holiday apartment for two weeks in August but if they'd flown over tomorrow the flights would have been almost £500 more!

This way they're having a pre-holiday holiday.

We're all going out for the day...and night.

Sounds like you're in for some fun having friends to stay Ally

Up early as I have to take the car over to the garage for assessment. We bought a new sat nav a couple of days ago so although we know where we're going it's a good opportunity to try it out before our trip to Kent next week. The old one was completely useless last time, it's mapping is so out of date and updates for it so ridiculously expensive, it worked out much cheaper to get a new one with lifetime updates.

Managed to finish clearing out the upstairs drawers, three bin bags later I have to wonder how I fitted all the rubbish in because they're definitely not empty Expecting a client at 10.30ish and then providing it stays dry we really need to cut the grass. After that I'm guessing another trip to the tip beckons.

Morning all - looking overcast here, that bad weather is on its way, the tail end of that hurricane Doesn't bode well for the weekend, we wanted to have a BBQ on Sunday, with H being here.............We'll have to see

Off into to Salisbury for a little mooch. I'm looking for a top in a particular shade of blue to go with a skirt. I want to wear it tonight at a milonga, so the hunt is on
FiL coming tomorrow to stay for a few days, so need to get his room sorted and food bought for the weekend too.
