Good Morning Tuesday

Good Morning Everyone
Its been really nice weather here lately, not at all winter like. Real tshirt and shorts weather for the last week. Bit windy today, and i think it is packing it in now, but it's been nice to have a winter respite for a week.

Oliver went and had his eye's tested at the hospital. The poor love definitely needs glasses. :( So I'm trying to work out, does he need them now, or when he starts school, and how bad is bad, iykwim.

Still trying to pick a vanity and a shower for the bathroom. Problem is, that what I want, they don't stock in little old NZ. I'm going to have to get a shower custom made, as I can't fit a modern vanity and shower across the wall where it has to go. We are now next on the builders list, so i have to pull my finger out and get it sorted.

Sasha is a school today, and Oliver is at preschool all day, and I'm feeling a little lost without my sidekick here. still it's 1:15 so I'd better pull my finger out and pack the swimming bag and get dinner on, as it will be pickup time and swimming time and then dinner before I blink.

Have a good day everyone.

Usual office day for me today. Debih I was on the train to work whilst you were still in bed - jealous? Me? never!!!!   I've got the alarm set for 5.30 every morning at the moment because I'm looking after a neighbours cats; far too early a start really but ho hum....

Tesco delivery tonight between 8 and 9pm and then hoping to get a very early night.

Cruiser, I didn't light a candle last night either - I was in bed at 10pm.... but I did download a candle app on my phone and had that on for a minute or so, but not for the full hour ;)

Hope everyone has a lovely day today x

Morning all :)

We have rain here, but as I'm going to potter at home today it makes no odds, and anyway we do need it ;)

Weka speaking as someone who had serious eye probs as a child and wore glasses from aged three I would say the sooner he gets used to them the better, I would get them now if they are needed now - starting school brings enough new things to get used to ((((x))))

Cruiser you are always an early bird :)

Debih I'm not up yet, feeling shattered this morning :?  Ten more minutes..................;)

Morning Ria, hope your day goes better xxxxxx

Today will be spent doing the bits around the house that didn't get done yesterday, also H's room needs a once over as he's arriving tomorrow for a week, while B visits her dad :) Really looking forward to spending some time with my boy :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning :)

The forecast was quite good for today, but now it's changed; it's dull, we've already had a little shower, and they're saying more. There better had be then, since I've abandoned the 'get all the washing done' idea
Carol on Breakfast is at the Tower of London with all those ceramic poppies, it does look beautiful :)

A thrilling morning scheduled, Bb's not working till later so we're going to get the freezer defrosted - very much overdue, but it's been far too hot! Still, one of those jobs you're always glad to have done ;)

Weka poor little boy, I understand you wondering whether you really need to worry right now, have you tried mumsnet or similar, there must be others in the same position?

Hope everyone has a good day

Morning everyone

Lovely and hot :D

A stroll down to the village later and maybe a coffee - definately no beer :o :o

Sorting out another wardrobe yesterday, I found a jacket I thought I'd lost - so a very happy person yesterday :D

Weka, I'd get Oliver to the opticians sooner rathr than later - I've been wearing glasses since I was 12 and for years before that, I was constantly squinting and getting headaches, missing buses, walked past people I knew  As Kaz said, better that he gets used to them now rather than all the hooha with school as well.

Hope you all stay dry over there ;) and have a good day xx

Di I saw that on Breakfast, apparently there will be an opportunity to buy a single poppy afterwards, I am seriously considering it, for my GGrandad 8-) xx

Oh Ton great you found the jacket - I still can't find the stretchy jersey B&W dress I bought for B's college graduation last year, I haven't seen it since I washed it after wearing it that day :? I've looked everywhere! It didn't cost much at all, but I liked it................

I should have got up earlier. When I came downstairs I was greeted by a rather large accident that Millie had had.

She had her booster jabs yesterday and was a little subdued last night and it always gives her the runs.

She would have been crying by the door at some point during the night but as I am in the attic bedroom I wouldn't have heard her. L usually hears her if she cries to go out (which is very, very rare - usually only if she has an upset tummy) but the girls were both staying at my mums last night.
