Good morning to you both.

Ally you'll be at work by now - hope you're having fun x
Saundra, enjoy that cuppa - it sounds lovely sitting by the harbour side just watching the world go by. And hope you do get some peace to enjoy it all before the crowds descend.
Kaz - a very happy birthday to Becky; hope she has a lovely day

I can't believe it's Monday already - this weekend just whizzed by; see what happens when you're having fun

Usual work day for me today.

Have a lovely day all

Morning :)
Lovely here, bright and sunny.

Batch of h-word due today methinks, then this afternoon I get to choose - always a bit lost when things like the Commonwealth games finishes. Not that I sit glued all the time, but it's nice to have something to follow :)

Good luck Ally, Happy birthday to B, and have a good day all

Morning everyone

A lovely, hot, sunny morning - so my cuppa is going to be taken outside :D

Happy Birthday to B xx :D :D Sounds a good day to me - hope she enjoys it :D

Hope your morning is going smoothly Ally x

More gardening for us, before it gets too hot - cut a lot of the shrubs back yesterday and as I was taking huge lumps of aloe vera down to the bin, one of our neighbours came along and grabbed a load   She uses it for her daughters skin, as it soothes it - poor girl was very badly burned many years ago and this is the best thing for it x

Houseorkery stuff for me too - although not a lot  as it's always clean  just in case. Although in saying that, I had to get in touch with our agent yesterday, as our house wasn't on his website - he's checking it out this morning.

Sorry, waffling

Hope you all have a good day and the sun shines for you xx

Morning all. I feel terrible this morning - something woke me at around 3.45am and I never got back to sleep again. I'm exhausted and its only 9.45.

I had the lovely job of picking up 10 carrier bags full of dead pigeons this morning. Nice. One of Mick's friends shoots and had shot loads of pigeons and my friend, the ex headteacher of the primary school, keeps birds of prey so she is always interested in them as she uses the breasts. They didn't half pong. I have dropped them off at school (in a secluded place in case anyone walks by) as she is coming in later to collect the last of her stuff. I am meeting her for lunch but I didn't want them sitting in the back of my car whilst I am at work!!

Home alone for me today - Mick is working away and the girls are staying at my mums tonight as I have an early start in the morning. I will be taking the dog to the vets for her boosters, taking her for a run around the meadows and then home for a bath and a very early night. I won't even need to cook for myself as I am having a late lunch with my friend.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

It's horrid waking up early and then not being able to go to sleep - you never really catch up on that missed sleep (well I don't). At least you have the day to yourself which hopefully will make it more bearable x

As for the pigeons - I can just imagine the smell. Hopefully it was dry this morning so you drive with the windows wide open ;)

Morning all :D

Very late getting up this morning, recovering from a hectic weekend with our grandchildren

Happy Birthday Becky and good luck Ally xxx

Just been round for the papers and got back as it started to rain. Don't think it's going to be the heavy stuff today, just lots of drizzle. Good excuse to stay in though and get some jobs done. I'm busy washing all the bedding, decided to completely strip the spare beds, all four of them, duvets, mattress covers the lot so everything is all clean ready for the move if/when that happens. It's a job out of the way and it won't take long to make them up again if we have to.

Hope you all have a good day :D
