Wonder Dog

A dog stopped and read the notice in a shop window:

Assistant Wanted.
Must be able to type, use a computer and be bilingual.
We are Equal Opportunity Employers.
Apply within.

The dog went in, looked at the shopkeeper, trotted to the sign, pawed it, wagged his tail and whined..
The shopkeeper got the message so, not being particularly busy, he took the dog into the back room and pointed to a typewriter.
The dog jumped on the chair and quickly typed a perfect letter which he pulled out and gave to the man.

The surprised man could only say, 'But I need someone with computer skills', whereupon the dog
went over to the computer and, in no time at all, produced a sample spreadsheet.

The shopkeeper was truly amazed. 'I'm most impressed by your skills, but I can't give you the job'.
The dog went to the notice and pointed a paw at the 'Equal Opportunity' bit.

'Yes', said the astonished man, 'but I must have someone who is bi-lingual'

The dog looked downcast and, with tail between its legs, made for the exit. Suddenly he spun around and ran back to the man. Sitting down in front of him he said in a clear voice, 'Meow'.
