Afternoon all, it's got rather dull now after a very nice morning. I've been busy catching up on the dreaded ironing, got about half way through it. Mr. Osc has been busy picking apples and cooking them to make apple jelly - we weren't sure we would still be here to get apples this year, and we've got damsons as well. So this afternoon I have to go out and get jam sugar as there is none available locally, and I have another few bits and pieces to get. We don't expect to hear anything about the house today, but Miss Osc did talk to the other solicitor late yesterday afternoon and a small bit of progress seems to have been made, fingers crossed - nothing major but forward movement nonetheless. Nothing planned for this evening. Enjoy your day everyone :)

Good afternoon all. It's a dull one here so far, it brightened up briefly but has clouded over again now, and there's quite a breeze. It's a bit cooler which is lovely. I never used to mind the hot weather but now we have Billy and I enjoy our long walks but they're not so enjoyable when the sun's beating down, plus Billy doesn't like it so we're stuck with early morning and late evening walks.
I shopped early this morning before walking Billy. I picked up some school shirts for Joe and realised that next Summer will be the last time I need to buy school uniform :?

Not sure if Tom's back to day or not. He and M turned up mid-afternoon yesterday but she wasn't feeling well by evening so John dropped them down at her house and Tom stayed. He's texted me to say that she's fine today.
Joe's only just got up.

Have a good day all!

Oooh forgot to mention that I ate loads of blackberries while out with Billy, they're very early here this year. We don't usually start picking them until we've come back from Cornwall late August/early Sept, and some were very big and juicy!

Joe wanted to go celeb stalking yesterday - the Barcelona team are training at England's training facilities which are a few miles away from John's office

I actually managed abut half an hour of weeding etc once the back garden was in complete shade.
No-one else would notice but I can see the difference :)
And it being early (5pm) I hadn't sprayed - and got bitten within the first 5 minutes. Twice.
