Sounds lovely Kate. Have a nice evening.

Sounds plenty to me, and sounds lovely :D

Coincidentally the friend who visited today with her son - he lived with the ex and I for a year, then much later when I was stuck I lived with her for almost a year too :)

Yes they arrived hungry, loved the fresh mint sauce with the lamb.
I have Upset my daughter to put it mildly who has developed a fad, an aversion the lamb and other meats, I made a venison dish with red wine, if I say so myself it was delicious, she tucked in and kept saying how marvellous it tasted (thinking it was beef that she tolerates on occasions) I confessed, she is furious
I wish I hadn't owned up!!

Yes she did, it was delicious. Lamb curry tonight. A very tasty spaghetti Bolognese last night, with lots of mushrooms, red and yellow peppers garlic and red wine, etc and a munchy salad in which I plonked fruit, chopped pineapple and dates (they loved it). I used Quorn the veggie beef. One would not have known the difference
A little tip is if pineapple is sharp, add a tiny tiny bit of salt, (just a little) it will be lovely and sweet
