Hah! 26c inside here - and the back door's still open

I dread to think what it is in my kitchen - even with both French doors open. I just went downstairs to get John and myself a drink but Tom and M were in there cooking (again). The oven was on and it was so hot in there. What was in the oven? Toast! I told him that he should've used the toaster - he hadn't thought of that....

I've done ironing

That must give me the rest of the day off

Ironing is my job for later Di, the washing's just gone out so it'll be dry and ready to iron in 15 minutes probably

I've done the ironing and now I'm leaking

Even with all the windows open and the ceiling fan going

Not sure what's going on with our dafty English neighbours house.

She went back to England over a week ago and the final contract was to be signed yesterday and we were all expecting the new people to move in.

And nothing has happened yet

We're all on tenderhooks, wondering if it's gone through or not
