I'm back........

from the most fantabulous, brilliant day with Poll and Amy

We met at Temple Mead station, then thanks to Poll finding out about it we took a little ferry up the river to the SS Great Britain - I was going to take us up there by bus! The ship was simply amazing, loads to see - including watching a lady who turns 80 tomorrow climb up to the crows nest - I kid you not!!!! That was an optional extra that Poll and I decided to forego Then we got back on the ferry, to the city centre, walked up to Cabot Circus for something to eat, had a mooch round House of Fraser, walked back down to the Quay and watched Amy paddle in the lovely water features down by the Quay, then got the ferry back to the station. They will be plane side at Bristol Airport now

The sun shone and it was hot, hot hot!!!! Brilliant day, and I'll post some pics tomorrow as I am cream crackered now, with a capital K

It was brill Di, and yes Saundra the plane took about as long as my short train line - the train stopped at every flipping lamppost

Ally she was blooming amazing - everyone broke into a round of spontaneous applause when she reached the top
