Female Mutilation

Postby KateLMead » 22 Jul 2014, 05:41

I wrote to Theresa May twice regarding her indifference, refusal and failure to meet a group of young Muslim women
Who wished to plead with her to treat FM as a crime who had taken the trouble to actually travel to her constituency
Where she was holding a clinic. She refused to meet them, they had a wasted journey, I also wrote to David Cameron complaining strongly as I am sure many others have.
This atrocity was and has been carried out with the indifference of the police government and social services.
I was pleased to see an ethnic MP bring the matter up following our meet last year when if I remember rightly eight children had been taken to hospital in Birmingham following this barbaric act being carried out on them.
Now action hopefully "May be taken, that is if the Muslim council (gov) of G.Britain supports these unfortunate youngsters." And brings these barbarians to book.

They do seem to be trying to clamp down more Kate don't they, they've announced that the parents will be prosecuted too, and various other measures (didn't see it in detail but was pleased it was given prominence on Breakfast).
Very hard to put a stop to altogether but the more that speak out the better.
