Actually, I worked there for a couple of years, when I stopped working in London, it was a nice bus ride from my parents' house (Haslemere that is, not the house!). It was an organisation that imported foreign students for language/holidays. I used to do a weekly manual paylist for 500 temporary summer teachers
The woman who owned/ran that was quite incredible - and some of the people who worked for her too.
There was one who had been one of the traitors' secretaries (Philby I think).
And one who had no fingernails, she'd been in a concentration camp.
And one I've mentioned before, who had the Queen's warrant, she used to make the Maundy posies every year
Oh yes, and one whose husband was a Concorde pilot
