Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 19 Jul 2014, 04:54

Good morning. :D

I woke myself up at 6am laughing in my sleep!

That woke Don up so we are now sitting on the terrace having coffee waiting for the birds to wake up.

A quick run and then a swim and that's me for the day. :D

No Mr Martin lust fest this morning so I'll watch last night's Masterchef final. :D

Having been out every night this week I think we're staying in tonight....

Have a smashing day everyone. :D

Morning :)
We had a very short downpour last night but no storm. Now it's dull and could do anything - more rain and storms about.

Glad your foot's not too bad all the time Saundra, hope it eases properly soon x
Enjoy the final Ally :)
Bb's working today, hopefully back earlyish afternoon.

Tonight though, we have a date :D
Bb's taking me out :D
We both love Thai food, and the reviews for a place nearby are terrific, so we're going here:

Apart from on holiday, I can't remember the last time we went out in the evening other than a Wetherspoons meal deal or a freebie with Tesco clubcard vouchers, and that's probably a total of 3 times this year :D

Hope everyone has a good day

Good morning everybody

Lots of lightning and thunder about 3 a.m in the night.
Still lots of clouds and a few rain drops on the window.
Not doing much today.

Morning all :)

Di that looks fab, enjoy the delicious food 8-) :D :D

Ally no Mr Martin fest 'cos he's here in Gloucester today instead at the Food Festival in the Docks :P ;) Not that we will be going, I have on previous years, although not to the ticketed stuff with the star chefs, but it gets really heaving and I don't fancy it............. :? :) Mr Hollywood is there too ;) It's going to be a wet day anyway I think, but it will still be packed solid.......

Saundra take care, I do hope that starts to ease for you soon :( ((((x))))

Morning cruiser :)

We slept better last night, although a huuuuge thunder clap woke us once and I got out of bed to close the bedroom windows as it hammered down! It still feels a bit humid but not as bad as yesterday :) Hoping for a nice relaxed weekend...... :)

Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all. Rain today. We had a bit of a storm last night but it's still very muggy.

Last nights concert was pretty good. There were about 10 acts altogether (I lost count). The Vamps and 5sos were good but god, the Kaiser Cheifs were amazing. It went downhill after that - two women I've no idea who they were, Neon Jungle (they made Little Mix look good - they were dire), Katy B who completely killed the atmosphere by doing songs from her new album no one had heard of (and she looked like a slightly slimmer Vicky Pollard). Home just after midnight.

Busy day today getting ready for tonight. Girls are both appearing in the panto (Lucy was in it last night). L has 3 friends comng to watch her and then sleep over and S has her friend who stayed last night staying again tonight (that'll be a hard one as I don't like her and have to grit my teeth and smile sweetly).

And I'm supposed to be playing hairdresser and dip dying L's hair. S can wait until her gobby mate isn't here!

Good morning all, it's a soggy one here! It was a bit stormy around 1am with a fair bit of lightning but I can't speak for the rest of the night - certainly nothing woke me anyway and we've got all windows wide open. No doubt John will put me straight when he gets up as he's a very light sleeper, a fly could sneeze two doors away and it'd wake him :P

Need to take Joe shoe shopping today, for this flippin' wedding next weekend. I'll take him to Clarks and they can double up for his school shoes for next year then. He came to Tesco with me last night and got trousers (got him black ones so they'll do for school). Tom's good for trousers but needs shoes, and all three of them could do with new shirts. What a faff for one day

Not sure what else is going on. M stayed again last night, I never imagined our spare room would get so much use - she stayed Wednesday night too. I was going to say that we'd have been stuck had we still been at our old house but then again she'd have had no need to stay as she only lives 200 yards up the road from where we moved from. Tom's out on his paper round so I'll claim a living room before they both park themselves in front of a TV for the day

John's not biking with his friends this weekend as he took a nasty tumble the other night while cycling which resulted in X-rays - nothing broken, just lots of bruising - but he said that he might take Joe out at some point.

Have a good day all!

Glad you enjoyed Kaiser Chiefs Deb - I'm miffed that they're only doing festival type shows and their own shows in London and Leeds, I wanted a proper tour  Love 'em live, they put on a great show, how much energy has Ricky got? He's all over the stage!

,Good morning, all.

Slept like a log all night, so didn't hear any thunder.

Got soaked walking with Prince at seven. Now have to start tidying the place up as we have
seven or eight friends coming to visit us this morning for a good old chinwag.

Hope you all have a pleasant day.
