Thanks Molly, I managed to get through quite quickly using your instructions. They've said they'll ring to arrange collection so the parcel can be returned to sender. Not holding my breath it will be any time soon as like many of you I've read the reviews regarding this courier

Have just read this

Does the address have a post code and is it typed or hand written?
A lot of couriers go by post codes only and a small mistake could easily lead to an error.

Before you open the parcel, photo it including the address label.

Regarding Hermes, we regularly have parcels delivered by them and collected if we have a return. Have the mobile phone number of the local delivery driver. When we recently returned a large item had to wait for the company--one of the TV shopping channels-- to authorise Hermes to pick it up. We even take in parcels from Hermes and Royal Mail for one neighbour living on his own who is usualy out at work.

The delivery postcode is typed Cruiser and yes it's ours, although the intended recipient definitely doesn't live here.

I can only guess that somehow it's come to the wrong Swindon as there's one up near Dudley (where the parcel originates from) and another in Gloucester. Who knows really, certainly the scribbled senders postcode is a Dudley one which Yodel did confirm. Anyway, it will be interesting to see if anyone does actually phone to arrange collection.

Hope you can get it sorted Jen. My only experience of Yodel was not good, they opened my back gate and put a parcel round by the back door and I was not happy about this - what if the dogs had been in the garden and either bitten him/her (although they are more likely to love someone to death than bite) or far more likely, just run out of the garden into the street  I just did not like them coming onto my property without my permission, and tried to ring to tell them so, but met with a brick wall/indifference

They will only improve if they start losing business and they are not going to tell the company that the parcel was from that there have been complaints, so I sometimes ring the delivery company but I always ring the supplier
