Morning all.
I'm still sick. I'm going to try and get an appointment at the doctors tomorrow,
The storm has finally broken. Thank goodness. We actually saw some sunshine today. My lawn is so squelchy and muddy.
And the gale force winds have finally stopped. A week was 6 days too many. Major cleanup underway in the far north, they have been hit pretty bad.

The kids are having a sleep over tonight at their grandparents, so I'll get a bit of a sleep in tomorrow, but not much, as hubby still has to go to work.

Have a good day everyone

Morning all :D

Bit overcast here although the sun does keep trying to appear, it feels really heavy so wouldn't be at all surprised if we get a storm later. Ooops it's just started to rain, lucky it waited until we'd been round to get the papers!

Hope you feel better soon weka x

Glad we cut the grass and did a tidy up in the garden yesterday afternoon but now we're both cream crackered. There's a nice rotisserie chicken in the fridge ready to cook for dinner later, I'll throw some salad at the plate to go with it and that's about as much energy as I can muster.

Hope you all have a good Sunday :D

Good afternoon all.

It's been drizzling with rain here this morning but it's brightening up now.
We went to a garden centre yesterday and bought a few plants which I planted.
We also bought and put down some slug pellets, as we have been plagued with
slugs this year. I was amazed this morning to find the garden covered with dead
slugs - small ones. big ones, and ones as big as your head. :D

Have a nice day.

Jo I hope that sun is coming our way - doesn't look too hopeful though

Well we've done our big shop - still saving money by swapping to Morrisons, definitely :D 8-)
